Default oil cooler

I've had a quick search on the forum and couldn't find anything.
Just a quick question really, have all s12 got and water cooled oil cooler or does it depend on what engine or model it is. Only asking cause I've looked around where my oil filter is and can't see any water pipes. hope someone can help.

as far as im aware, they all have a water cooled oil cooler, there are 2 types i think, the one on mine is sandwiched between the block and the oil filter, its silver in colour, looks like stainless steel, and 2 pipes on top of it, the other type is like this i believe :-

hope this helps.

the old type actually has the cooler between the filter and the block, basically that bit ontop on that pic, is similar to the part that is sandwiched between on the old ones, with just 2 pipes on top.my car is stored at my parents or i might have been able to get a pic.
