Clutch is going to be done in a couple of weeks when Den (HINT HINT) finds out if his old (new) one will fit.
It's booked into the body shop in 2 weeks time to have a complete revamp. It's looked a bit tatty for the past couple of years so time for a partial re-spray and a few extra goodies to be fitted. Silviagod reckons my awful tyre wear on the rear is down to badly worn bushes. This may account for the noise coming from the rear too? Only problem is I don't know what the bushes are so if anyone could answer that dumb question then please do! In about 3-4 weeks from now it's off to have the LPG conversion. ![]()

when my mate owned my car, he had both rear beam bushes go, that really badly wore the inside of his tyres, i.e he wore the inside of a brand new tyre in less than 3 weeks.
they also made a loud knock as he came off the throttle.

Ah could be then!
It's the inside of my tyres that go (as in the INSIDE where the 30psi is!) - from the exterior they look fine. Until suddenly they shred off the wheels whilst driving ![]() ![]()

problem is you would be best doing the rear beam camber conversion whilst its off as I didn't when I replaced the bushes and the best camber the garage could get was -2* on either side. I basically have to back tyres every year or so but on the good side it grips real well!
