Anyone fitted RX7 injectors?

I'm just wondering if anyone has fitted RX7 injectors.

I've tried doing a search but 'rx7' is too short to be used.

Anyway I've tried fitting the injectors and have found that the plastic cup that the injectors fit in squeeze the injector into the manifold and therefore its bound to cause an air leak.

Has anyone sanded the plastic cup down a few mm or just done away with the cup and kept the rubber ring round the injector and the clamp. It looks like it will work as it squeezes the injector in nicely but just wondered if anyone had any issues before I go ahead with the idea.
