Making sense now, mine is a mk2 but has nuts and studs rather than spade connectors, so by the looks of it, it's a mk1 with a mk2 pulley on it.
 Only problem now is that the pulley wouldnt come off the old one and while trying to get it off I think I've broken something as the nut and shaft rotate independantly of the pully  Have you still got that mk2 pulley umpkin??
