well, the horrendous knocking kinda calls for it
 can't really tell if its big end of small end but its that type of knock that makes you cringe when you here it, like the engine is eating itself.im gonna take all the belts off first tho and make sure its not ancillary related. been preoccupied with one of the other cars of late and not had time to fiddle. was reading on ther other forum that ppl have had success jacking up the bellhousing til it hits the tunnel, supposedly give you just enough clearance.
