i have the cozzie intercooler, so my dump valve is on that, and the vacum is tee-ed into the vac pipe that goes to the fuel reg.

hey, it also allows the turbo to continue spinning when changing gears, else you get a little turbo stall. it dont make much difference i know, but it does make some, and thats worth it in my poor old car.

I just dont like the sound, I'm gonna get a recirc one, but haven't really found any suitable other than the expensive turbosmart ones. But then again I haven't really been looking hard.
There are arguments for and against. Some dump valves release too much air, so although the turbo hasn't reduced speed much it has to recompress all the air in the pipework and intercooler creating a lag effect, but then some still get compressor stall even when they dump. I've always said I will use one once I go past 20psi but currently running 0psi kinda means I dont need one right now.
