 Good luck in your search for an s12. Hold out for a decent shell, its only the shell that matters.

 nah what i was saying was that my silvia managed to pass every MOT even though it's exhaust was made almost entirely from gun gum! and yet the rover couldn't even pass it once! Cheers for the advice though. i will hold out for a bit i think cos i'll have a bigger budget that way  to be honest i probably will just convince mself that i can live without a car ( i live 100 yards from where i work!) and then i'll see all your cars at JAE this year and instantly go home and buy one!
