Why not just buy a CA18DET?

The loom is different in certain places. You will also need to drill and tap the block for the turbo oil feed, and also use the DET sump for the oil return

ye i have a det oil pan and for drilling the block no you are wrong the oil feed is just plugged with a tread bolt.

i now that i have to wire the loom diffrent but i have a guy to sell me a loom from a det. hmm i will def try to wire the remaining wires.

the reason for this is that there a re tons of Cheap det internals in sweden. and i got the ca18de enngine complete with all for 1000 swedish kronor and the rest (det stuff) for 2500 kronor total of 3500 kr equal to 259 £ and is that cheap or not ???????

another thing i realised when disasemblig the intake it is a butterfly valve type ?? good or bad?? i have a det intake to use but wich one is better??

Ahh thats handy, Nissan did a bit of thinking with the oil drain.

I guess it doesn't make much difference if you are rebuilding the engine. Use the DET inlet, the butterfly thing is to help the emissions and driveability.
