I must admit the vent does look good in the photo, it follows the lines of your front spoiler really well, gives the car a more aggressive look .
Sorry for hijacking the thread , but did you see Chop Shop last night ? That off-roader looked superb, not too sure on the colour and the "drug leaf" motifs though....LOL.....
It would be great to have the imagination of Leppu, when visualising a car design. I wonder if they will do an s12, that would be one to watch .
Regards,
Ian.

cheers for the comments, i agree about the aggresive look, i may dill round it and put in some counter sunk rivets to stop it moving about, and then cut out the curled up part and fiberglass it in a bit better this time.

i do like the vent, i just lose interest when i cant visulise it going the right way.

as for chopshop last night, i only got to see the last 1/2 hr of it, but did look pretty cool, and mor ethe fact they were running it on used curry oil!!!!!!!! i guess thats the same as chip oil.

i didnt mind the colour, deffo was different.

and deffo agree, leepu has an imagination like no other, and i saw once again fook off great big spacers.

The last time I did some fibreglassing (to blend in my bonnet vents), I used a filler specially designed for fibreglass. It had fibre matting strands in the filler itself. It worked a treat and didn`t crack until my nephew decided to sit on the car bonnet (the little shit...).
Chop shop was the usual madness, lots of swearing and messing about...LOL...
Basically they were just using a Bio-diesel set up, you can use any type of used cooking oil for this, but some oils are better than others. I bet the car must have smelled gorgeous driving down the road .
Regards,
Ian.
