Talking got another s12

got this today quite cheap





98k, fully stripped interia, welded diff, aftermarket steering wheel, otherwise standard. also comes with blowing exhaust(downpipe) and dodgy brakes no tax or test.....
should be on the road in a few weeks

i got it off sideways danny....
just dropped it off around my mates garage to store for a week, and it loves to go sideways with that welded diff cant wait to get it to a drift day

Welded diff? Can someone give me a few pointers on how to do this properly, I bought my S12 for drifting so may aswell help it along a little

s12reamer, just get the back cover off the diff, clean all the oil off the cogs, and weld the square bit in the middle to the cogs around it?, im not being very precise, cos its been a while since ive looked at a diff, but you should be able to see what you need to do by turning the driveshafts separatly then together?

anyway, a mate of mine has given me a cooler


its a bit bashed in, but looks a decent size, he said he thought it was off a newish citroen or renault? do you think this would be alright on an s12, and where do you think it would be best to mount it? i have got a elec fan off a bb turbo, so i could use that if the viscous will be in the way?



there is a little hole and a crack on the front, but would it be alright to stick a bit of weld over it?

don't forget that you have to use cast rods when welding up a diff a mig welder won't do it , although i think you can get cast wire for them these days
