old-and-rusty is an unknown quantity at this point

I use the free edition of AVG.

I`ve tried Norton, which is a pain in the arse for taking over too many systems on your PC.

TBH, I think AVG is probably one of the best free applications out there. I`ve never had a single virus get through yet. Probably tempting fate now

....LOL....
