Hi there does anybody know the tappet clearances for a ca18et engine? cheers

8's and 9's from cold iirc and 8's and 10's from cold with the piper cam.

nissan manual says :-
0.30mm or 0.012" when hot

dosnt give a cold figure.

mine are noisey too, but it helps me know my engine is running when i have my music loud

in my nissan manual it tells you to set them at the same at hot, but different when cold.

I dont have a manual (I sold it on ebay for £187) but 0.3mm hot, or 0.21/0.23 cold.

I suspect it's 0.21 exhaust, 0.23 inlet, but maybe someone can confirm?

Either way, its always best to set them hot

I also added a few extra chapters to the manual. Hence the exceptional price
