It might be the same work as doing the S13.
But there are 2 types of S14/S14a diffs I think. If the shaft bit that actually goes in to the diff is the same thickness as the S12 then it can work. I believe some S14 diffs have a thicker shaft though and this will mean you're fcuked as you won't be able to use the reground S12 shaft
