the ghetto grinder is the only way on a street car, i dont use tha car that much at the moment due to fuel costs but i am using cut springs as it rides smooth still & looks cool & my lil mini race car is enough bumpyness for me LOL

how do i remove the hubs to change to longer studs as i found some good spacers which should allow enough clearance for my 14" rims, any whoo i have gone of topic a bit

i'm doing the brakes on my silvia this week, i have the calipers partly off, but i have to refit them to unbolt the handbrake mech, a 14mm one, & i have to slacken the hand brake, where is the adjuster?

the springs etc on the rear caliper are moving freely now

how far can i pump the pistons out? i dont want to remove them i'd like to pump them out a little to see if they are pitted, the drivers side rear is fine the passenger is a lil suspect

the carriers i have cleaned up with a wire brush on a drill & painted them matt black, as with the bolts! bolts are covered in copperease grease!

i have new pads for the back replaced the fronts & once i've done the rears i'll bleed the fluid through as its probobly due a a change

binding or siezed brakes are a pain in the arse! but....... i want to get her on the road with a fresh MOT

cool blummin car ya know! lpg in this thing would be nice if i had the funds, we'll see

sound like quite a busy time your having lol, i keep looking at mine, thinking i need to do this and that, but never have the time, hopefully summer evenings will help.

also you never answered my question above, about the year of the micra you used for the sills, i have one side that needs attention now.

Cheers.
Jamie.

if i remeber correctly i think they are 94-onwards, i'll check the sticker if its still readable tomorrow! i'm tinkering again!

i think i may have to get a caliper rebuild kit, the seals piston etc etc for the passenger side rear!

brakeparts.co.uk i think, i'll get pics tomorrow too
