S12 smells of burnt petrol
hello all
ive still not been able to locate where the smell of burnt petrol is coming from my car when i have my windows down. no exhaust leaks ive tried sealing the boot in gaffer tape putting 2 layers of carpet down in the boot any ideas? |

i had an issue with a zafira a while back. It was a worn rubber seal on the fuel filler cap.
Other than that open up the access hole in the boot to the fuel pump and then the access hole below that and reseal the lower one with some sealant. the tank rubbers do stretch and perish over time,

nice. i think my s12 appeals to petrolheads in general more than s12 purists.
i actually think the m3 front bumper makes it look meaner and a little more modern. the boot skirt thing finishes the s12 off though. when i get another, its going to be the first body mod. |
