Just to update this for peoples information,I got the uniroyal rainsport 2's in 225 45 17 front and rear.
They have transformed the car completely for wet or dry driving. Traction is probably twice as good,and roadholding is incredible. I would highly recomend these tyres for anyone who is thinking about some new ones
