Default Automatic to Manual Conversion, any help/advice?

I was just wondering if anyone could help with regards to converting an auto Silvia s12 to a manual. I'm quite handy with spanners but I could do with some info on whether this idea is worth considering or whether i'll end up with a gearbox that doesn't fit etc.

Also any ideas on sourcing the parts needed would be handy, as i'm a newbie to the world of Silvias

Thanx Steve

You'll need the following :

MkI or MkII G'box and front part of the prop (each is different)
Clutch Pedal
Clutch Master/slave cylinder and piping
Flywheel/Clutch
Modded G'box rear mount

The rear diff is different but I had an Auto in mine, gives better 0/60.

You have to disconnect the Tranny ECU in the rear and the Radiator coolant pipes. Plus I think the plug on the TPS.
I think thats it...
