Default CA18ET crank in a CA18DET

i know that there are a different number of bolts holding the fly wheel so if i swapped the flywheel as well could it be done, as i have a DET with big end failure and scored crank and a good ET crank, could be a cheap repair?

It would probably cost under 100 to have your damaged crank reground. That is at a guess. Have an ask around

If you where to change the crank the front cambelt sprocket would need to be modified. You would also need to use the ET oil pump. The reason is that the ET crank is smaler in diameter.
