Cheers got a safc 2 now and all the bit like injectors, both fuel rails, so ill look at whats involved, cant be too hard! the safc looks pretty easy to wire in. what type of fuel pressure reg do i need?

iv used FSE fuel regs with out problems

I had to bin my FSE reg. It wouldn't maintain stable base pressure.
So you'd be driving along, have a boot and then it would remain on high pressure. |

ive got a 2nd hand fse reg on mine, and it seems to have given me a missfire once or twice, in low revs, on anything more than light throttle? also sometimes it makes the idle unsteady? so think i might bin/ebay

I used a webber one as used on the sierra cosworth.Its adjustable and reliable.

cheers for the replys, iv been scratching my head thinking about how to install the injectors, and have a few ideas
1. Fabricate a fuel real from aluminium bar and get it welded etc as many people have done 2.Make a fuel rail using high quality fuel hose and metal t pieces, i seen this done on a few engines buy professionals, easy to do but what do you think? 3. try and adapt the original CA18ET fuel rail Personally i like option 2. as its the easiest and cheapest ill see if i can post a picture to show you what i mean. Any body got any thoughts on this? |
