yes that was owned by a max power writer. he bought it already 'done up' then satin blacked it and bought a new turbo. after that he couldnt work out why it wouldnt start. max power slagged the car off a bit on there site page by saying it was ugly.(toss*rs)It came up for sale on here. Did you buy it through s12oc classifieds?

i remember that car from the mags,i think it had a custom made stainless steel exhaust by extreme motorsport, the turbo was given to essex turbos and made into a hybrid t2/25 i think and seem to remember it costing £1000 ,they put a star wars steering wheel on and gearknob/pedal set,had it sprayed matt black and put tsws on ,then it wasnt in the mags anymore......

yep that sounds like my car. has a hybrd turbo. an custon exhaust. na i hought it off some guy in milton keyns. i didnt even know about this site until i googled it! and i found my saviours. the guy i bought it off couldnt get it started either, he must have bought it off max power. he brought it to a garrage, they replaced ecus, everythin. i posted up my problems here, and got loads of helpfull replys. im a mechanic so i ran through everything, and i mean everything, so i got fed up with it one night, i loged on and went trough every post again, and i noticed i think norterner said to check the block connectors under the air box, as these were giving him similar problems in the past, it didnt look that bad, but i had tryd everything else, so i cut and rejoind every wire sepratly with seald connections, and first turn of the key nothing, and i look at the engin bay and kicked myself as i had left the plug on the first cylinder out. he he
so i tryd her again. and up she went. first go. i did backflips. awsome feeling. so now im prepairing her for prodrift series. ful custom cage, new bride stering wheel as it had a horrible star trek one. have an omex ecu to go in, also have a t3 hybird turbo. but not sure weter to put it in or not. and there my plans for the moment! any sugestions?

I had the same problem a long time ago and it was a single wire on one of those connectors under the air filter that had corroded and snapped off, i swapped that part of the loom and bingo

if your drifting it then steering rack spacers are a must on a s12, as the standard lock on them is shit

what suspension have you got on it?
