i need to rotate the turbo housings on my turbo thru 180 degrees as its going from bottom to top mount. Is there a knack? the compressor housing has 3 clamps around the outside, but the exh housing has two half moon rings and 4 bolts. ive slackened the bolts and the exh housing doesnt seem to want to turn relative to the core? dont want to use brute force and ignorance just yet
![]() what am i doing wrong?

U need to use WD-40 or something like this. Dont use a hammer it may couse some trouble. I had the same problem with a V3 Skyline RB25DET turbo. My friend tryed to help me and thanks to his help the exhaust turbine weel had fallen off. I paid for this turbo 300 bucks waited almost 2 weeks to get it and never even had a chance to try it. I was so pised. It wass a second skyline turbo the first on fell apart at 1,6 bar of boost
