Default GAAAAHHHH!!!! overfueling troubles.....

hey guys, im looking for ideas, and solutions, lol

my car is costing me an arm and a leg in fuel, i.e about 10-12 MPG with normal driving (80% duel carriageway), i have a T25 running about 9-10 psi ish (dash gauge)

I have just replaced the fuel pressure reg, and is running at 36 psi as per the manual.

and have swapped the air flow meter with same results, when i went for MOT the emissions were high bout 5-6 %

any other things that could cause this, as my work is 10 miles away from my home, and i do 40 - 50 quid in fuel just for these 5 days.

cheers for any input.

I know the feeling all to well im 8 mile round trip to work. Its costing me around 40-45 quid a week. thats drving economically Fcuking government! But its ok because the lowered the price of fuel by ONE PENNY!? its a fcuking joke. How about they lower it another say 32p and lower the big fat cat bankers bonuses to get us out the resession.

Sorry im getting away from myself and turning this into a rant.

I concur tho my car isnt the most fuel efficient car but it gives me smiles per mile XD
