Default Cone filter fitting and other things

Sorry about what must seem like more obvious questions, I have searched the forum but can't find the answers

First, how do I connect a cone filter in place of the original air box as there isn't a normal tube to use, is there something in the scrappies
to adapt it?

My speedo over reads by about 10 mph, is this normal or are the tyres likely to not be the original size, its on 15" 60 series.

Lastly, once the car is warmed up the tickover rises to around 1300 rpm, any ideas

Thanks.

most people use an old air flow meter and cut it down for the adaptor, the speedo's do read about 10mph over, mine has larger wheels and they have a slightly larger rolling radius and mine reads 6mph over, not sure on your tickover, maybe an air leak.
