Hiya, been away for a while...

Name chosen because I appear to be quite 'near miss prone'.

Plans for the future are to start modifying as soon as I renew my insurance, and can afford to actually buy anything at all.

I'd like to get an induction kit (K&N?), boost gauge and controller, and a set of lowering springs to start with, and go from there.

BTW is there anyone on here from the midlands, particularly near Nott's, as this is in fact my first car and I know next to nothing about doing stuff to cars, and I need a Yoda to learn from , and any help anyone could offer would be very appreciated. I'd also like to get to see more S12s, as I love 'em!

Oh, and hello to Northerner; I've managed to get those wheels on and use them once so far, but the plans are still in place.

Cheers all.

Most mods on here are explained in the how to section but if theres anything you cant see that your not sure of then someone will always help you out

As for the filter k&n is just a brand name that people assume is the best and thats why they go for it, i dont think anyone on this forum is even using a k&n are they? any nice big filter will pretty much give you the same results with a nice free flowing exhaust system

good luck mate and get some pics up

Thanks for the reply mate, but I think I should have been more specific; I've been reading the how-to's, and they've been very helpful in figuring out what I want to do, but I literally know nothing about cars (Mountain bikes, I'm all good), so I'd need someone to show me/ tell me in person what to do. Plus it's always nice to meet new people

Is there much of a difference between a full induction kit and a 'high performance' panel replacement?

What kind of money am I looking at to improve flow on the exhaust, and can I replace different sections as I go along?

Sorry for all the questions, I'll move along to the tech section if needed?

EDIT: And pic's as soon as 'not raining' and 'off work' coincide
