The best size you can get, and be able to go filthy low without any rubbing are 4x114.3 7" wide and ET35

Disclaimer: I know (and the guys will attest to this...) slightly less than f*ck-all about some stuff...

...However, I *think* I'm *mostly* right with regards to the following info! :-

I found out when looking for my wheels that several other manufacturer's fitments are the same for CERTAIN models of their cars (i.e. some examples of 4 x 114.3: Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Nissan, etc...)....

Some examples I found for you (ranging from the useless to the possibly quite likely ones...):-

(PS - Last figure's the centre bore, but most places supply hub inserts/rings with the wheels to ensure that they're snug - Also don't be put off by the smaller size bore for most of the other manufacturers when buying 3rd party wheels - With Wheelmania for example, I bought Jade wheels that weren't a primarily Nissan listed fit, and they simply supplied a thinner insert for mine - A smaller bore fitment would have been supplied with a thicker insert for example... - Having said that, I don't know what the other guys views on inserts are, so check first!)

Here goes:-

Model / P.C.D. / Offset / C/Bore

DAEWOO
Matiz 4 x 114.3 38 56.5

HONDA
Accord 92>, Prelude 92>, Legend >90, Civic V-Tec 97> 4 x 114.3 38 64.0

NISSAN
200SX >94, Bluebird, Prairie, Primera 4 x 114.3 35...42 66.0

ROVER
600, 800 4 x 114.3 35 64.0

VOLVO
T4, S40, V40 4 x 114.3 35...38 67.0

Looking for after-market wheels that *also* fit the above models may increase your chances, but also bear in mind that the early 4-stud 200sx shares the same fitment, and that wheel suppliers like CAM, Wolfrace, and Wheelmania normally have a fairly big range of wheels to fit the Silvia based on my findings above!...

One thing though - Check that the wheels DO have the right ET range! - 30-35 is normal, my 45 ET Jades DID foul the suspension cup without a 3-5mm spacer!

Hope that helps widen the choice, but I guess it's always best to ask if the wheel you're intending to buy will fit the car, bore-wise - It's the bit I'm not 100% sure of!!...

Den.

thats top info Den. This should go to HOW-TO section once its taken its course.

17" wheels dont have rubbing problems on the arches when the car is dropped 40mm either which is good. I chose to run 205/45/17s when i had 17s as it was a slightly less harsh ride over the nasty roads around me.Also i found 215s on the front did make steering a little too heavy for my liking. But thats just preference.

Silvia Engineering reccomended 16x6.5 for best overall handling which i think is about right. Lastly with 17s i always use a strutt brace as it made a hell of a diference on my s12 when ive had 17s.
