It is not actually a very hard job to do. You just need to source the parts together.

You will need to get a custom braided oil inlet line made up. Companies like pirtek, hydroquip will do this if you take the old oil line in and your turbo so that they can get the thread fittings from them. You will need to get a cnc cut t3 flange as the t3 has a different size manifold fitting. Search on ebay for these. I would then cut off the t2 flange and get the t3 one welded to the cast manifold by a very competant welder. I had a t3 manifold that had a t3 flange welded to the bottom of the t2 flange. It worked fine but it was a very tight fit and a bit of the engine mount bracket had to be ground out for clearance. (It wasn enough to weaken the mount but iits probably not the best way to do this conversion).

You will need to get the oil outlet flange that will fit the t3. If its a cosworth type t3 with 3 bolt downpipe then use the same pipe outlet as is used on the car it came off of(cosworth).

Next you need to chop the bottom exhaust fitting off your t2 downpipe (where it bolts to the exhaust) . Get the t3 cosworth 3 bolt downpipe flange from ebay or cosworth breakers. and now fabricate a nice little mandrel bend to join the two together. It takes a nice bit of mandrel fabrication to make the downpipe so that it clears the s12 bulkhead. (The t3 is larger and sits back closer to the bulkhead than the t2.

Now rotate the housings on the turbo to siut your intercooler pipework positions. Do that by losening the 13mm bolts on the inner edges of the housings.

The cosworth type garrett t3 comes with a 10psi actuator.Fit a boost controller or an adjustable actuator to adjust this A healthy unit should be able to do More than enough for most et engines. Get the car rolling roaded to find out what boost you can run safely without detonation on your fuelling setup.

A t3 powered et s12 is great fun if your running over 1 bar boost pressure. For a bar or under a t25 or t28 is more suitable

the adapter plate will probably bring the turbo down too low and make the front housing foul on the engine mount. Do you have a picture of it. Your probably best buying the complete kit off martin. It will save you a fair bit of aggro and time.
