Ok here goes; not sure if i'll do this in one sitting but i shall start at least=)

there are 3 banks of plugs on the eccs unit; one 16 pin plug with 11 connections, one 20 pin plug with 10 connections, and one 15 pin plug with 10 connections.

plug your soldering iron in

disconnect the battery and unplug the harness from the stock ecu;

the first diagram of interest is the one noted 'for vehicles with hot wire, flap or map sensor' [page 9]

there will be a green wire in the 16 pin plug. measure a comfortable distance from the plug so that you can solder onto it later [5cm+] then cut it. now; solder the white wire of the greddy harness to the afm side of the break, and the green wire from the greddy harness to the green wire on the ecu side of the break.

Brown wire or greddy harness to be spliced into the light green wire of stock harness

black wire of greddy goes to ecu's earth; this is a black wire, although there are many so i shall identify it by pin; if you look at the ecu's pins, it is the top right of the 16-pin connector.

and red of the greddy to the light green wire with a black stripe; identified by pin on the ecu as the bottom row, one in from the far right.

well that sounds easier than i thought it would be
