Default how do i change rear wheel studs

how do i change the rear wheel studs for longer ones so i can fit spacers for my new wheels!

have to disassemble the rear brakes it take off the caliper/disc leaving the bear hub/ Then just tap out the old studs

yeah but is there enough room to get longer stud back in?

i think i may have to remove the hub but dont know how

there is a sort of cap on the hub but how it comes off i dont know!

you should be ok with slightly longer studs. If you have to take the hub off, its a big job as you have to undo the trailing arm and the nut on the inside which is about 280nm! And if you have gone that far, you would be best changing the wheel bearings which are expensive and you would need a press to get them off and fit them

flippin nora! :O)

i thnik i'll have to trial fit my wheels again & take some measurements

what offset is ok on these s12's if i cant get longer studs n spacers on i'll have to either sell my cool wheels which i defo dont want to do or get some of those bolt on spacers that have studs built into them!

have to put the word out n see if anyone has some 2nd hand!
