craig's got a scimmitar, he does hill climb sprints, there's one at thorsby next weekend, i don't think the conversion is that bad,the main arse is taking the dash out to put the peddal box in, i've took one out ready, then theres fitting the clutch master cylinder, that a piece of p!ss, there maybe a little buggerin about with the gearbox mount but that can't be to hard.

naah its not that hard a job, but lets get this s12 thrash going, as there has been so many attemps at it, i even found a RR near me who was only £30 ish a run on a dyno dynamics set up, i think i was the first one to mention it, b4 pukka got one together at austec, i would like to get mine against some others before i take the old 8 valve out and see what she really can do,if not many are interested, then lets just a few of us go to track car solutions at chesterfield, get some read outs and pics ,then post them up for a good read.

Id be seriously gutted if i missed this but my car just wont be ready anytime this year

A tip though to whoever wants to arrange it. Put it up in events and agree on a location with 8 definates before speaking to any magazines. They dont like being messed around.

Cool

thanks for the tip pukka. was only going to give em a quick bell just to see if they were interested if we got enough bods together. that rr thing in chesterfield sounds like a good plan too. would be up for that.

i think most people are down south though, i think everybody where going to race shack which was more central, it was a bit expensive though if i remember, something like £80, this is probly because they have a cafe, games room and you can drive your own car on the RR to do the standing quater and 0-60, to be honest, its a bit childish for me,i'd rather go to a serious outfit and pay a more reasonable price.
