the t28 in that picture has the take-off tapped into the elbow bolted onto the outlet, it's my old one. In my experience taking the feed from after the intercooler will give more stable boost as it's telling the actuator what is actually happening just before the plenum rather than just after the turbo. it helps to account for boost drop across an intercooler |

that thing looks huge ,sorry if this has been covered before but are forged pistons, stronger rods always needed with these turbo's or is the std. ca18et short motor ok?
My T25 gives me all the boost I need but i wonder how much more it would take before things started breaking/melting |

ok maybe i simplified a bit too much, but honing the bores and fitting new rings should always be done anyway. big ends are the same, you should always use new bearings
