Sorry but I have to dissagree, a GTIR engine will (and has on many occasions) go into a Primera quite easily. You just have to bin the box and use the Primeras original.

But you will have a job putting a RWD box onto an transverse engine, incompatible.

Why not try and get an S14 engine instead? easy to get hold of.

iv'e already got the pulsar running gear (from my last car) i'm just trying to sound out people as to weather a pulsar lump would go on an s14 gearbox, but i'm still gonna try the 4wd route, its going pretty slowly at the moment coz i can,t spend much time outside in the sun coz i'm having chemotherapy, so i've bought a gazebo to cover the front of the pulsar while i strip it, and i still haven,t found an s12 yet , cash is waiting
