Before I became self-employed, I used to work Christmas day and Boxing day too , but at least I used to be paid double time .
It still makes me laugh when you see people stacking their trolleys up in the supermarket on Christmas Eve, as if there is going to be a food shortage after Christmas .

lol, thats what me and are lass say, we shop as normal, its only another sunday dinner with a few extra bits.

alright for some, we've had 20 people here for 3 meals a day for the last 5 days

A few years back, I did a spot of taxi driving over Christmas. Morrisons had just opened in Rochdale that year and people were queueing up to get in at 6.30 am on Christmas Eve .

Bloody hell, that must have cost a fortune .
Me and the Missus have Christmas well sorted. On the 25th my Sister feeds us and on the 26th either the Mother-in-Law or the Sister-in-Law does it .

well i'am all set for tonight, 5 bottles of red wine, 1 ltr of sherry, 8 cans of boddingtons and a ltr of vodka, that should sort my liver out , anyway have a good night to all you s12 owners.
