without nitrous it was 260 something at the fly 209 at the wheels. The nitrous pumped the wheel figure up to 290 something and mid 300s at the fly.thats very respectable seeing as it was 30+degrees at the time and they let it cook on the rollers for 20 minutes before they did the run.But the actual rollers seemed to be reasonable

If the car had been run up to temp 30 mins beforehand and then left and then started just before the run it would of done alot better.I suggested this but it wasnt done. I think they were a bit amature(it wasnt thor).

these figures will change for next year.

the first run (216 at the wheels) he only reved it to 5000rpm. i told him to rev it up to 7000rpm for the 2nd run. 240bhp at the wheels. 3rd run with nos. 294bhp at the wheels

gutted.

leaving the car to cook for 15 minuits before commencing, then only to find they DIDNT use a fan whilsed dyno'in was a big power sapping contributing factor. couldnt beleve it.! sucking in 34c temp without a cold air sorce.

madness.!

gunna go back to the drawing board & see what i can do for the next JAE.

want to re-create a bit also.

big fans aren't for cold air intake, they're for keeping the radiator cool and stopping the engine blowing up. temps would only have made a small difference to power

I saw a lot of other things in your bay which I think would be restricting power personally, I'd love to have a play with it and try a few things. if you want an accurate power figure you need to get over to Surrey rolling road. their Dyno-Dynamics is becoming the benchmark

you will have been looking at old pictures. the breather is fed back into the air system, not to atmophere. + afm is NOT standard. its from a 300zx. there has been more work carried out nearly prior to the show also.

'dodgy & crapy'. not something i choose to complement someones hard work, own ideas, pride & joy. thanks.

Rob - I didn't look at pictures, i looked at the car on the stand. plumbing the breathers into the intake is a bad thing, it will lower the octane of the fuel in the cylinder. what 300zx AFM? certainly not a z32.
