Ok there on an the car is as quiet as a mouse, well besides the the loud exhaust system
They fitted great but the only thing i will say is that when doing the nuts up, i think you could continuously tighten them to the point of maybe splitting the gaskets,i certainly dont want to have to be tightening the nuts up every other day Il see how they go but also because they feel quite britle although there 6mm thick maybe over time they will become too britle with the heat and could cause problems. But i was told that they can withstand very high temperatures and will keep the heat from travelling back into the head so only time will tell.

Gaskets
Adz, i have a set of the new gaskets from Mike at ferriday and they look fab but havn't put them on yet.
The guy is very clever and is up for any advise anybody may need. I use slightly thinner copper gaskets than shaun at the moment but they work really well. If you need any allen headed bolts 10 by 1.25 thread ( about 60 mm long) for the manifold feel free to have six f.o.c from me mate.

Nice one kenny Although i have 6 frsh new helicoils in and studs etc, i have a feeling there still gunna come loose Did you have the same trouble and therefore opted for the allen bolts? How do they hold up compared to the std studs and nuts?

Allan bolts
Hello mate, the only reason i used them was cos i made the manifold so i could top mount the t3 but they seem fine. i use a very high grade thread lock fluid and they seem fine. Put a steady bracket on the manifold helps but i reckon you may struggle to do this on a standard one. i have always said its as much the weight and movement on the standard manifold that causes the gaskets to blow but mike at ferridays has a good point when he says the standard gaskets just can't take the heat from pure thrashing
Like i say mate your welcome to have six.f.o.c. just let me know. i had to cut mine to length but that not a problem.Four of mine are helli-coiled.

Sounds good to me mate , il pm you my adress later and its much appreciated
Your spot on about the weight issue playing a big part in the studs stripping the threads, seeing as i wont be opting for a top mount im gunna look into a brace of some sort to help support the turbo and reduce weight pulling on the maifold.

I expect they may harden once they have been up to running temperature a few times
