Well I know that and the guy who quoted me was thinking of a box for a DET. What I neglected to mention, on purpose so I could get an honest opinion, is that I'm selling the gearbox and the guy who wants to buy the box off me has been told the going rate is the above which I thought was a bit steep and I don't want to rip him off but if he's wiling to pay that...............

£100 sound good to me. i sold one for £80 about 5 years ago
Most gearbox re-conditioners want £125+ surcharge if you dont have a box to re-con

Depends on miliage and cleanliness to be honest. Anything from £50 for a dirty lump of shite to £150 for a 50k mile box thats nice and clean
