Default big help needed

hi i am in big need of some help gettin a ring gear so i can do my manuel conversion and nissan want far too much money for one and wondered if any one new wear i could get one from.
any help would be much help many thanks jake

You need a pinion too.

You can just use your auto diff though, it just has a ratio of 3.9 instead of 3.7 thats all

i have all the parts that i need for my conversion been throught all with my mate who has done a few the only problem is that the ring gear has some teeth missing so need ether ring gear or flywheel can any one help

I've got a manual diff spare that needs bearings but as far as I'm aware the r.gear is fine. Drop me a pm as I dont want much for it

Sounds like he actually just needs a manual flywheel (& bolts)

thats the thing have manuel flywheel and have taken ring gear off just need another too put on or if any one has a flywheel i would but that.
nissan want too much money for ring gear and far too much for flywheel

cheers for the help every one. nissan were i am will not help me with the ring gear for the flywheel as by the sounds off it they can not be bothered to look the part up so will have too keep lookin.

Reply I got from my mate at the dealer re the ring gear


Hi

Jun87 on 12312- 30F10 "Not available"
to Jun87 12312-D0211 £53.37+vat. Not in stock in UK or Europe. ( Order would be from manufacturer or Japan) so could be upto 8 wks but wont know till you put order in.

I can see here the other dealer looks like they are being unhelpfull / unreasonable. They may be trying to protect their own interests.
i.e
1. If they order the part it may take up to 8 wks to arrive.( This info is available after ordering but is never accurate).
2. It cannot be cancelled once order has been submitted.
3. It could become "not available" at any time.

Sorry for that bad news
