s12reamer, just get the back cover off the diff, clean all the oil off the cogs, and weld the square bit in the middle to the cogs around it?, im not being very precise, cos its been a while since ive looked at a diff, but you should be able to see what you need to do by turning the driveshafts separatly then together?
anyway, a mate of mine has given me a cooler ![]() ![]() its a bit bashed in, but looks a decent size, he said he thought it was off a newish citroen or renault? do you think this would be alright on an s12, and where do you think it would be best to mount it? i have got a elec fan off a bb turbo, so i could use that if the viscous will be in the way? ![]() there is a little hole and a crack on the front, but would it be alright to stick a bit of weld over it? |

don't forget that you have to use cast rods when welding up a diff a mig welder won't do it , although i think you can get cast wire for them these days
