GTS calipers are designed for a 300mm disk, the S14 designed for a 280mm disk.

There are 2 types of s13 caliper. The pre-facelift ones are smaller than an S12, the facelift are approx larger size 280mm IIRC

Well its prob not worth sending them to me anyway because I don't have any S12 hubs easily to hand to measure the correct offset of the discbrake.

The S13 discs will fit over the front of the hub. However whether or not the offset is correct I don't know. You may be able to remachine the discs though to bolt to the back of the hub in the normal way.

Of course i'd be ditching the standard calipers and using the 4 pots normally found on an S14 or if you like ally ones get them from a Z32.

Whats the dimensions of the disc? If they're 30mm thick you will need to use the 4 pots anyway.

If the offset is only slightly out you could just use washers to move the caliper inwards to the centre of the car

To be honest, they're not worth bothering with, they are the same thickness as the standard discs, and very likely to be almost the same diameter. Braking force will remain the same.

Its the thickness that's the main issue in my opinion. There is less material for the heat dissipate in to.

I've never had much issues with the standard brakes accept they just don't have good stamina. I would be very concerned on using them heavily for track use.

I have the 30mm thick S14/Z32 discs on mine, just need to make up my prop to get the car on the road to test things out.

After ironing issues out with the car, I will very likely be upgrading the brakes to M3 discs (315mmx30mm).

But back on topic a little, would be interesting to know whether or not the S13 discs used on the front of the S12 hub would result in the correct offset of the disc though...

i tied a z32 disc up to the s12 set up and it made the disc in the wrong place in the caliper, it was a long way out.
