Braided Brake Hoses
If you wish to replace your rear rubber hoses with braided ones, here's where to get them from.
Firstly, there are TWO pairs of rubber hoses on your S12 rear. One set joins the brake lines to the calipers and the other set joins your subframe brake lines to the main brake lines from the front of the car. Company: Earl's Performance Products UK Ltd. Web Site: www.earls.co.uk TelephoneL 01327 858 221 Contact Name: Adam I'm not sure of the exact prices so I'll edit this thread when I see the credit card statement. They were only about £20 a pair for each. These parts are made up to order I believe. The easiest way to order them is by telephone and quote the following order numbers: Caliper to brakeline hoses: Order No. 07109146 Mid Line hoses: Order No. 07109406 From the above, they should be able to locate my two orders for each set. If they have any difficulties locating them by order number, quote my details - Richard Kimberley, postcode DY11 6TG. They are nice pieces of kit, well worth the money in my opinion.

Goodridge also do them for the S12. The rears replace both smaller lines with one single "long" line, however, they need to be clipped in place on the subframe to stop them getting trapped.
The fronts are direct replacements but when the car is jacked up and it's on full lock they are a little on the tight side, some MOT testers will complain about this but they can usually be talked around. They do them in Zinc plated or Stainless steal and they are around £70 for the full set. I got my set from http://www.motorsportworld.com but you might find them cheaper buy hunting for them

Good find! You'd probably have trouble with them on your setup but they are ok on a Standard road car.

I have this kit no problem, except that it's 2 pairs; where can order the pair of middle rear, please? Because I have DOT 5.1 brake fluid and i think that i need to change them.
Cheers. |

if you have the Goodridge kit then you don't need the middle line on the rear as it replaces everything from the copper brake line to the caliper. You just have to secure it to the car or it might end up in your rear suspension!
