Default MMR direct...........

Hey i just thought i would warn anybody about buying from mmr direct in the states.

I bought a set of rear subframe bushes a diff hanger bush and a rear strut brace. After a couple of weeks of not receiving anything i try to get in touch them through there email with no response quite a few times, then managed to get in touch with them via there ebay account and after about the 10th email i got a response.

They said "they hadnt got round to sending them yet" 2 weeks later i recived all the bushes but no rear strut brace........... then went through all the trouble of trying to get through to them via email and ebay account to which i got a response back a week later...... "we sent one out to you erm would you like another one......" after a couple of weeks i eventually got it!!!!!

At least i can say i got everything....... when i had got this all done and dusted i came across a thread on club s12 which would have been handy as im not the only one to have had problems

I dealt with them for the same bushes for both me and Datdrift. They were close to impossible to get hold of and they only ever ship stuff on Fridays! so it's possible to be waiting for a week before you order is even picked!! It was a highly frustrating experience, however, the stuff did turn up in the end. If I can be arsed I'll probably try making some of my own. Just need to find someone with a supply of decent polyurethane!

I can`t beleive they still get customers with shocking Customer Service like that. I too sell a bit on ebay and to be honest, I worry if it takes an extra day to get orders posted out, a week is taking the p**s
Just imagine what hassle you would have had if the parts had been the wrong ones
Regards,
Ian.

The parts were good though when we got them, Just took about two weeks longer than promised to ship them and they were buggers to get hold of!

I remember when I got my stainless exhaust from SE many many moons ago . It took almost 4 months to come through . But to be fair, it was the first production one they had made .

Ian.
