the reason I want new is because the bolts I took out are 22 years old and I don't trust them, I don't fancy re-sizing the threads in the block either, I've already got the crank in and prepped the bores. I might spec some 12.9 high tensile bolts myself, can't cost more than £15 like that I recon

probably 10.9, I'll dig the old bolts out and have a look. As they're non stretch they'll only be high tensile anyway, then just need to worry about washers

Fair point, im just the type of person that if i need something i dont really worry about price or trying to get things cheaper, maybe im just too lazy to look around lol But thats just me:)

i got some matched length 12.9 cap bolts from a local supplier anything higher was special order,cost £1.25 per bolt
