if the gearbox is put on sideways from underneath, then you rotate it around into place when the bellhousing is just about touching, then there's no probs,;)

Happy days :) the usual high range of info that I was expecting!

Will save me measuring gearboxs, and tranny tunnels for hours!

Think I'm gonna take the plunge and buy the engine, as my fiance has left me, so I need something to make me smile!

As for the brakes, I bent one of the shims back into the right shape so that they hold the pads properly, and now that there isn't a pad flapping around in there....it doesn't knock! Win.

Onto the next wiring issue now!
