I think they only occupy a small amount of the core, and anyway you want an oil cooler to be cooled by something cooler than hot water.

i made my ic piping. from scrap aluminum. My buddy tigged it up and soon i will re-shape it to hide completely behind the stock bumper. "the sneaky sleeper that bites"

30p.s.i what thermostat housing are you using? The outlet comes out the
front instead of the side.
