need some help

hey everybody
i have a problem
i want to buy a better turbo
but down here(belgium) is a problem very expensive items
so if someone get tell me what i need to change turbo fuel exhaust ? i would like about 200-220 bhp in the car
and if one of you makes the deals and send it to me i would really be glad
i am running at the moment with a stock turbo with more boost, closed the return fuel line a bit for more fuel pressure and installed a small intercooler from a mercedes vito cdi and got about 175bhp at the moment
i hopesomeone can help me

thanks mates

For 200-220bhp at the flywheel your easiest option would be to fit a t25 (standard spec on the s13). The simpest conversion includes using the same turbo gasket, the s13 downpipe and the s13 oil return line. You will need the s13 3 bolt flange that bolts onto the t25 compressor outlet aswell and then adapt it to the shape of your pipework directions with a hacksaw and maybe a aluminium welder.
Running at 15psi your should see around 220bhp aslong as you have a healthy engine with decent filter and exhaust system

after having my fuel pressure reg fook up and give me near full pressure 60 ish PSI) at the injectors, is blocking off the fuel return a good idea???? i found it has massive over fuel.

just got it running again it was rolling on 3 piston and had to change airflowmeter sparkplug wires 1 sparkplug and clean it i'd just replaced sparkplugs last week
and now i was bussy i installed an intercooler as well (broken last race)
i replaced airfilter(big race filter) 2 weeks age could it be that it run bad and needs adjustments?
i saw a adjustement crew on the airflowmeter and don't now what it does!!
just got an offer for a t25 of a 300zx 88-89 version
lots of work ?

ok found a turbo a t25 from a rover 220 turbo with 65tkm(40tmiles)
for 250euro (235$)
now i just need to now if i have to change exhaust (bigger or not) and fuel system (just close return fuel line or changing other parts)

turbomike 03-05-2006 18:03

can you not just find a s13 t25 and downpipe as pukka surgested surely thats the easiest route and then make yourself up a 2 1/2" exhaust with performance silencer if your going for 200+bhp,personally i would unblock the fuel return

wimdepim 04-05-2006 17:26

down here cars with turbo's don't drive very mutch
the taxes are by kw here and the people here like to drive a lot with diesel
so it's buying whatever you find!! or new

unblock the fuel return?? does he get enough fuel on stock pressure?

turbomike 04-05-2006 19:33

i have 2 1/2" exhaust, powerfilter, bigger throttlebody,dumpvalve,t25 turbo and large intercooler at 14-15psi on the standard fuel pressure

wimdepim 08-05-2006 20:55

the 2 2/1" exhaust is it availleble or home made ?
with throttlebody you mean the air-intake after the turbo on topo of the engine right?this part http://www.club-s12.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13164
i still need to learn the technicale name of some parts

turbomike 08-05-2006 21:13

exhaust you will have to make yourself or get made, yes the picture you show is of the throttlebody which wont add much but its better than nothing,i have a z31 turbo one on mine but the ka24 one is bigger still, dont forget to port your inlet manifold where the throttlebody bolts on if you fit one otherwise its a waste of time

wimdepim 09-05-2006 07:50

ok i will make an exhaust
but do i need to changes a lot for the throttlebody swap or is it just swap and port the inlet manifold
oh yes the z31 turbo is going to be a problem i won't find is easy here they are not officialy sold in belgium only the imported would be availleble but the ka24 witch carsand engine are they from ?

turbomike 09-05-2006 08:46

i think its the 240sx that has the ka24e single cam engine that has the large throttle body, its a bolt on job after uve ported the manifold, the water inlets into and out of it may need modifying to bolt it on thougth, there will probably be some information on club s12.com about it

s13eater 09-05-2006 09:13

you could just loop the water pipes together, as heat through the throttle body is not good, it could be put back through for winter use, i think its just so the butterfly dont ice up.

wimdepim 09-05-2006 10:23

240sx that would be a 200sx s13 right?
240sx is not used here only 200sx s13 and s14 or silvia s12 it sucks to live in belgium they don't follow other country with all models and don't always use the same names
mayby someone can sell it to me and send it to belgium
i thing that's easer than the surge in belgium

turbomike 09-05-2006 19:25

240sx is not the same as 200sx s13 no,s13 throttle body may be be bigger than s12 and go on,not sure never tried it ,if you want a ka24e throttle body go on ebay usa ive seen them come up before for sale

s13eater 09-05-2006 19:43

i have a 65mm nissan throttle body for sale, it will fit straight onto the s12 manifold.:)

adzs12 09-05-2006 20:41

Shaun how much difference does the throttle body make and where do you notice it most?

s13eater 09-05-2006 20:50

well i think its at the top end when your needing more air, the more boost you run the smaller throttle body will slow it down,i know that i picked up 4cfm by changing the throttle body,if you have a t28 it stands to reason that you need a throttle body simular size to what car the t28 came off and i'am sure it would not be running a tiny s12 jobbie mate, the s12 tb is good for the standard boost on a t2 and thats it, its very restricted, if you are fittin an afc, you could do with fitting a larger afm as well.:)

adzs12 09-05-2006 21:07

I have a safc2 unit ready to be wired in as i have the s13 injectors now and my walbro will arrive this week;) What afm are you suggesting?
