Dash lights

Im having an issue with the back lights on my clocks, i have illumination on the oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge but nothing on the speedo, rev clock, fuel gauge and std boost gauge, any ideas?

Ive been chopping old bits of loom out from the std ecu coz i now have the omex but the lights are all on the ignition side of things aint they?

lmao:trout only messing. Yes your rite,it shouldnt effect things on the car loom. Do your headlights work and is the dashlight dimmer module still plugged in properly at the back and have power to it

Yes mate i have head lights and all other lights on the instrument panels, just literally no speedo light, rev light, fuel and std boost gauge. The dimmer is plugged in and working as i can dim the fuel light and water temp:confused:

ahhh only other thing youve wired in recently was the after market boost guage. Could that of affected it?

Cant see it mate as it directly replaced the one that was there before which was the exact same boost gauge which i wired into the dimmer switch.

have you had the dash out???

when i had mine out a short time ago, i think the electrics for the illumination are from a wire that goes into the back of a bulb, that plugs in the back of the dash to power the rest, im sure that bulb that carries the power is the one that illuminates the oil press and temp gauges, you may just have a bad connection there.

Yes ive had the clocks out and i know the bulb with the single black wire running to it that youve mentioned so il check on that bulb and wiring too it:)

That black wire that has the bulb on it that plugs into the back of the clocks, the other end goes to that little black thing by the ignition barrel??

If so ive changed that particualr bulb and still no difference:confused:
