New S12 Owner

Just saying hello.

Bought my s12 a couple of weeks back.
1987, White, 35k.
All standars apart from a 2.5" straight through exhaust.

Bin working on the underside of the car in my spare time cleaning it up ready for when i get it on the road next year.

Just bough a water pump, temp sensor, thermostat and timing belt from Mike Feeney at MJP :D

Does anyone else have difficulty with the plug leads? Took the plugs out after a little struggle just to check how shes running and then spent an hour trying to get number 3 back in. Now either im doin sumin wrong or its the flimsy leads? :ghey

Welcome :D.
Just make sure that the metal contact inside the plug lead hasn't closed up or become miss-shapen.
Regards,
Ian.

Do you remove anything before changing them?

Its quiet a squeeze

t'was a bit of a pain the ass when I did mine a little while ago. Make sure there's none of the old plug contact stuck in the lead.

Tbh. The easiest way to do it is use an old spark plug and try it for size out of the engine. That way you can judge if the plug contact is okay :D.
Regards,
Ian.

If ur going to be doing a lot of work on the s12, you'd better get a big box of plasters....lol..... ;).
