Much easier to buy an lsd thats made for a 200sx with open diff. Then it's just a bolt in setup.

Are your sure about this?
You mean LSD for an open diff R200 for 200sx s13 or s14 it's a bolt on on our R200? Never found some who made it (despite of the flange, the specs of axles).
I just want to trust you seems too good to be true.

You're best to get an LSD for an open S13 diff

i thought s13 & s14 diffs were pretty much the same?

30psi 23-03-2010 16:39

Yeah but I think the S14a has a thicker shaft (the splined part that goes in the diff unit)

PureButeS12 23-03-2010 16:45

do you think it'll be wise for me to get a spare s12 diff to try this with, don't wanna pull mine apart & be stuck

30psi 23-03-2010 16:52

Yeah I would. At the end of the day if you buy a diff that is designed to be installed in an S13 case that uses the S13 open type shafts you are likely to be fine
