Nice did it fit in the standard mounts ? What box are you running ?

Draconis 29-07-2006 17:24

No, custom mounts, xmember has to be customed a bit... and box, I assume tranny box or whatever... I'm using the RB tranny and gear box.

Woah! - That's a tight fit! (fnaaar)... :D

Impressive just getting it in there, I think! :D

Well done. That is my engine of choice for my next engine in a few years time.

tbh i don't think much of the rb20? but it should go well in a s12:)

s13eater 30-07-2006 13:42

i know someone with an rb20 skyline, arn't they a little under powerd, 160bhp at the fly,i would have thought there would of been better tuning options putting the sr20 in, its different though and different, good luck:cool:

PukkaSilvia 30-07-2006 16:28

i would love an rb20det. not standard though

datdrift 30-07-2006 17:03

if your gonna go RB surely the 25 would be a better option:) also the SR would be better for weight distribution, rather than having 2 extra cylinders hanging over the front. but the straight six sound takes some beating:cool:

FLEXXX 30-07-2006 17:14

i might be wrong but i presume anything with a RB engine code will have after market parts ie cams etc at extorinate prices where as the power that can be produced from a det would total up at a fraction of that of an RB just a thought at the end of the day its knowing that you have got an RB powered s12 which is the dogs b*****X at the end of the just are all s12 in any desguise
