i like mk1's (its got the wrong rear lights on they are mk2 lights)
some ideas for you intercooler wise
original water rad moved back 100mm and a pace IC fitted in front
volvo 740 turbo intercooler + volvo 740 non turbo water rad + pipes. i ran @ 15psi without any problems
