The crux of the matter is the trailing arms need to have there movement (drop) limited.
A strap of somesort is required, I've mentioned else where on here I've done similar things of other cars and used old seat belts, doubled up and burnt holes in them, super cheap and plenty strong enough.
hese could be mounted on the top shock mount to the bottom shock mount.

If you want some seat belts pop round I have a few spare kicking around!
